Engine Components

Internal combustion engine or IOCE is a system where fuel combustion is occurred using oxidation agent in its combustion chambers to generate power and momentum. Usually, the reciprocating motion of the parts in the engine combustion chamber resulted from the combustion process is converted into rotary motion and in turn transmits the power and momentum. However, in Wankel engines the power and momentum resulted from combustion are generated and transmitted in rotary manner. Certain technologies have been developed in order to improve the engine efficiency and promoting its volume performance, inter alia, gasoline direct injection (GDI) and charging (turbo charge and super charge). In those propulsions where the power and momentum are the result of converting reciprocating motion of combustion chamber parts into rotary motion, certain parts such as bush, cylinder, piston, piston ring, connecting rod, crank pin, crankshaft and camshaft are of special importance and considered as the main point to transmit the power and momentum in such power generators.
